NEAL ADAMS
THE NEW HEROES PORTFOLIO Signed and numbered 165 (of an
unstated edition
of 2000), O/P. The portfolio contains six different black & white, 11 x 14 inch, plates in an illustrated envelope, which bears Neal's signature and
the portfolio number. This copy includes an extra Ms. Mystic plate. Issued in 1979 by Sal Q. Productions. Of the 2,000 copies published, only 500 came to the United States to
match "The Neal Adams Portfolio" numbers. The remainder supposedly
stayed in Europe. The plates include Ms.
Mystic (2 copies), Toy Boy, King Tut, Shaman, Crazy Man, and Titan. The first two heroes made it into
their own comic books. The 7 plates are all
printed on textured cream colored stock and the images are taken directly from
Neal's detailed pencils of the characters. Neal Adams died on April 28, 2022. See

MICHAEL KALUTA
THE DANTE'S INFERNO PORTFOLIO Signed and numbered 1784/2000, O/P. The
portfolio contains eight, full color, 12 x 16
inch, plates in an illustrated slipcase, which bears the
official signature and
number. However, I've gotten Mike to sign EVERY PLATE, as well as the inside
slipcase illustration, making this a highly unique copy. Kaluta visually interprets the various
circles of hell from Dante's Inferno in these eight paintings printed on heavy
coated stock. Some mild nudity on one plate. Issued in
1975 by Christopher Enterprises, each plate has a written explanation, based on
an English translation of the epic poem, printed on the inner slipcase foldout.
There is a minor bottom right corner bend in the white border on each plate. It
is minor and has absolutely no effect on the artwork, but I'm mentioning it, so
there are no surprises.

FRANK THORNE
WIZARDS AND WARRIOR WOMEN PORTFOLIO Signed and numbered
135/1000, O/P. The portfolio contains six black & white, 11 x 15 inch, plates in an illustrated slipcase and envelope.
Frank's signature and numbering is on the first plate. Issued in 1978 by Schanes & Schanes,
the plates are printed on heavy white stock. The images contain nude Red Sonja and Ghita
look-alikes in sword and sorcery settings, with Plate 6 even called Ghita. A
photo of Frank as the wizard appears in the center of the image used on both the
slipcase and outer envelope. Because of the content, you must be 18 years of age
or older to order this item. Great portfolio for Pinup or Sword & Sorcery fans.

MULTIPLE ARTISTS
THE F.O.O.G. (FRIENDS OF OLD GERBER) PORTFOLIO Released unsigned
with facsimile signatures on all plates except Colan's, but
I've gotten the Mike Kaluta (Mermaid) and Dave Sim (Tilting - Cerebus)(shown) plates
hand
signed by the artists on this copy. The portfolio contains ten different black & white, 11 x 14 inch,
plates on matte finish paper, in an illustrated envelope, O/P. This copy has two
of the Ghita plates by Frank Thorne in it. Issued in 1982 with an
unstated
print run of 5,000 copies. The other 8 artists
(with their plate titles) in the
portfolio are Charles Vess (Faery Tales), Wendy Pini/Dave Sim (Elf and Frost
Giant), Jeff Jones (Ducks), Barry Windsor-Smith (Medusa VII), Berni Wrightson
(Captain Stern)(shown), Gene Colan (Stewart The Rat), Marshall Rogers (Captain Quick
& The Foozle), and
Frank Thorne (Ghita - 2 copies)(shown). Jack
Kirby and Alfredo Alcala drew the envelope illustration of Destroyer Duck. The Thorne
and Kaluta plates contain nudes. Because of the content, you must be 18 years of
age or older to order this item. A superb
collection of artists in one nicely produced package. By clicking the "See

GEORGE BARR
OCTOBER WIND Print. Hand titled, signed and numbered 150/1000, sepia-brown-tan tones,
matte finish stock, 10 x 12.5
inches. Issued in
the early 1980s by The Fantasy Factory, O/P. Image of a delicate, waif-like,
woman in a flowing gown with a breeze blowing her from behind, sending her long
hair and dress aloft. Subtle background elements, like a flock of birds, add to
the autumnal feel of this print. The Fantasy Factory (George's business at the
time) with address is stamped on the back of the print.

FRANK CIROCCO
TWO FAIRIES Print. Signed and numbered 600/1000, full color,
very slight gloss finish stock, 12 x 10
inches, issued in
the early 1980s, O/P. This was personalized to me in the bottom border in
light pencil, so a good art eraser will remove any evidence of my name. The image is of a
female fairy descending to a male fairy, who is offering her a rose. Both have
traditional monarch butterfly wings. The blue background is populated with a
field of colorful flowers. Frank's FC monogram is printed in the lower left
corner of the image. A very lovely fantasy work.

L'AURA COLAN / ROBERT G. WARFORD, JR. / CARLOS
SANTANA
WOODSTOCK Commemorative Stamp Pane. Signed in gold ink by Carlos
Santana (see detail) on the sheet just below the actual stamp, limited to an edition of 250
autographs in 1996, O/P. This stamp pane was issued to commemorate the
Woodstock Music Festival Anniversary of 1969 to 1994, by the country of Tanzania
in East Africa, and bears the First Day of Issue Cancellation date of May 15,
1995 with both Woodstock Dove logos in the cancellation. Both the 1969 and 1994
Woodstock Dove logos are also gold overprints on the pane. Carlos Santana
appears in psychedelic glow paintings by L'aura Colan, from photos by Robert G.
Warford, Jr., in full figure on the stamp and from the waist up wailing on his
guitar on the left side of the sheet, which measures roughly 6 x 4.5 inches.
Mounted in a finished 14.5 x 13 inch wood frame with acid free black matt and
gold liner, under glass, this piece is ready to hang. Not really a poster or a
print, but certainly treated as "art" by the creators. Command Performance sold
these from release in 1996 to sell-out in 1999.

DeGRAZIA
SAGITTARIUS and VIRGO HOROSCOPE PRINTS: Both prints
are on lightweight semi-slick paper stock,
Signed by DeGrazia and dated 1974, size roughly 7.75 x 10 inches, white
borders have an uneven cut, some moderate rippling on both, almost as if the
print paper was not allowed to dry properly when created. These were sold at
Ted's Gallery In The Sun back in the seventies and were taken from an oil
painting series he created. The original backing tags for both are included.
Ted DeGrazia died in September 1982. See signed
prints Both for $75
LOS NIÑOS SIGNED COLLECTOR'S PLATE: "Los Niños - Children Of The World," Signed on the back by DeGrazia and dated 1977, Limited First Edition of 5000, Made by Gorham in 1976, 10.5 inches in diameter, Fine China, Mint condition in original bag, packing foam and box (box has writing and tape stains on it), long out of production retired plate. The original painting reproduced on the front was used by UNICEF in 1960, and the back features text about the plate and Ted, who died in September 1982. Not quite a print, but this is hand signed and was DeGrazia's first collector's plate. It currently sells for $1,100 on his gallery's Web site. Offered here at less than half that price. See plate $475
WANDA'S LITTLE BOY PRINT: Special Edition Print, Artist's Proof, catalog number 3M-7809-107-W, Rolled, Signed by DeGrazia and dated 1978 with "A.P." added, print size 17.5 x 23 inches, image size roughly 8.5 x 12 inches, large white borders with color registration strip on the left. This was obtained at Ted's Gallery In The Sun back in the seventies. The image was taken from an oil painting. A released version, limited to 200 signed and numbered copies, of this print was issued in 1978 for a local benefit. I believe only the extremely limited number of artist's proofs still bear the color registration strip. Recently found in a mailing tube and untouched since 1978, condition is as issued. Ted DeGrazia died in September 1982. See signed print $150
ROBERT GOULD
KING GROME Print. Signed (see detail) and numbered 68/450, brown, tan and sepia tones
on heavy
matte finish cream colored stock, print measures 15 x 18.5
inches and is matted up to 16 x 20 inches, acid free mounting tape used to attach print
edge to matte, ready to frame. Published by Black
Lotus in 1978, O/P. The very bottom of the print (matted out in the image here)
shows the 1978 Two Man Horse copyright, title, and the publisher's credit. King Grome is a Michael Moorcock character from the Elric of
Melnibone saga. Gould did numerous cover illustrations for the Elric books. The small
print run on this piece guaranteed a quick sell out in 1978. As a bonus, I will
also include a 5.5 x
7 inch promo card for the color version of this print, which was released a
year later, as well as a promo card for Gould's "Sword of Roses."

SPIRIT OF ARIZONA: SIGNED Full
color print commemorating the B-2 Stealth Bomber Naming Ceremony for the Spirit
of Arizona plane at Davis-Monthan AFB on March 20, 1998. Printed on heavy coated
stock, approximately 11 x 14 inches, issued in 1998, O/P. Very limited
production for distribution at the ceremony. Shows the B-2 in a fly-by with an Arizona accented
background and the Spirit of Arizona logo at the bottom. Identical to the below unsigned
print except this one is signed by three of the representatives at the
ceremony. General Richard E. Hawley (signed Dick Hawley, Gen. USAF), who has
flown the B-2, and Congressman Jim Kolbe (signed Jim Kolbe, U.S. Congress)
(died December 2022) are
definite and legible. The third signature, while clean, is uncertain. It is
probably Col. John D. W. Corley (now General), who was the 355th Wing Commander at DM-AFB at
the time, but this is just a best guess. While the unsigned print below is
in VF-NM
condition, this VF copy shows a bit of minor handling wear, seen at an angle, from being
passed around for the autographs, but nothing that detracts from the piece. When framed, it will
look outstanding. See

ALBERT J.
KRAMER
Pair of untitled Christmas cards, unsigned, full color, size
5 15/16 x 6 15/16 inches,
semi-glossy paper stock. Issued probably 1960s - possibly 1950s, O/P. Two
colorful pieces by noted American Folk artist Albert Kramer, #101 is a foreign
town square with a carousel and #104 is a rural town intersection with horse
drawn street car. So what are a pair of Christmas cards doing here? Buzza Junior
Inc. in California actually framed these and sold them out of their Santa Monica
store as Buzza Junior Originals over 55 years ago! The frames were badly marred
and scrapped, but the card artwork is in NM- condition. "Christmas Greetings And
Best Wishes For The New Year" is the identical greeting inside both cards. Both
also show an inside tagline 101/104 - From a Painting by Albert J. Kramer, Los
Angeles, California. One card has the interior sheet separated from the
exterior, which is odd, but it appears to be a factory cut. Reframing these to
your liking is actually a great idea. I will include an original ripped Buzza
label which was removed from the backing. With a search, you can find the
original for the rural piece (#104) posted for sale on the Internet for $5,000.

THE PRESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES PORTOLIO
Unsigned, Various Unknown Artists, 35 Black & White with Gold highlights,
8.5 x 11 inch, lithographs on parchment. Issued in 1967, O/P. This portfolio
contains the portraits of all 36 presidents to date, from George Washington to
Lyndon Johnson. 35 portraits because of Grover Cleveland's two-time election.
However, this copy of the portfolio has 3 plates of the LBJ portrait, so you'll
actually get 37 plates! Plates are in NM condition, except Washington which
appears to have a production crease near the top of the plate and a slight upper
right dog-eared corner. Neither defect has any remote impact on the image area.
See the sample plates for an idea on room around the images. The slipcase has handling wear and slight yellowing around the edges from age.
The history of the images used to create the portfolio is told on the inside
slipcase flaps. The earliest engravings date from 1867, one hundred years before
this portfolio was produced. Sharp item. See

in a lightweight black wooden frame with plexiglass and a small plaque is on the
bottom frame that simply reads "1970." The frame measures 14 x 25 inches

there in size. Issued circa-1998 and comes with an Electric Factory COA from

a few thousand laying around for an original. Ready to hang. The original retail
price on this poster was $75.

COMIC BOOK
PROMOTIONAL
POSTERS
The following are all promotional posters distributed by various comic book
companies between 1970 and 1995. They are all color and on slick paper stock,
unless otherwise indicated as B&W (black & white) or Matte paper stock.
These are all long out of print promos for various series or titles that were
distributed to comic book shops or through trade magazines. Almost all the large
posters were issued folded and folds are indicated by 2x = in half, 4x = in quarters,
