SUPERHERO MERCHANDISE CATALOGUES (Superhero Enterprises, 1975)
All color
and comic book size. These are excellent toy references predominantly filled
with Marvel and DC collectibles from the 1970s, but you'll also see a number
of Micronauts, Planet Of The Apes, Space: 1999, Star Trek, Star Wars, and
KISS items. Filled with Mego Toys & Dolls, Posters, Buttons,
Watches, Clocks, Coloring Books, Cups, Buckles, Patches, Board Games, Books,
Comics, T-Shirts, Statues, Models, Magazines - you name it! The last four
issues were produced by Joe Kubert's Comic Art School. Neal Adams, Jack
Kirby, John Romita and Frank Frazetta art reprints are scattered in the
latter issues. The majority of the last four issues listed were shipped bound into TBG/CBG, which is why
they have staple holes. Early issues were mailed folded and often had
address labels.
The Superhero Merchandise Catalog #1 G/VG+ folded in half mailed issue; 1975, 16 pages, Marvel and Planet of the Apes items only in this issue - with an emphasis on Spider-Man. This was the first catalogue in the series and is introduced by Stan Lee. Artwork by Dan Adkins, Howard Bender, Ron Wilson, and Brian Moore.
