THE RARE BOOK PORTFOLIO (Sparkle City, 1979): Limited Edition published by Sparkle City Comics in 1979, As New/NM condition - both comics and slipcase, Portfolio #55 of an unstated 500 copy print run, both the included Certificate of Authenticity and the portfolio slipcase are dated June 10, 1979. The "Sold To" line has my name on it, so you know you are getting an original owner copy. Included in the set are four black and white reprints of the very rare propaganda comic books: Blood Is The Harvest (1950), If The Devil Would Talk (1950), The Red Iceberg (1960), and How Stalin Hopes We Will Destroy America (1951). All but the last title were issued by the Catechetical Guild. Also included is the "A Brief History Of These Rare Books" original letter explaining the portfolio's contents. This is the original 1979 printing of the portfolio, not the reprint from 2008, in the condition it was issued 45 years ago.
