ETTORE "TED" DeGRAZIA WIND TAMERS CERAMIC BELL: "Bell Of Hope," Late 1970s, Hand Painted (not by Ted), Like New/Unused in original packing paper and R.B. Enterprises DeGrazia box, out of production, authorized by DeGrazia's Gallery In The Sun, the main bell is 5 inches long and 3 3/4 inches in diameter, when hanging it's roughly 15 1/2 inches from the top strap loop to the bottom of the ceramic clapper piece. The relief images are of a Native American girl ringing a bell on one side and the other side shows a bird's nest with two eggs and some small sunbursts. The main clapper is white ceramic and the hanging ceramic piece off the clapper has a relief painted image of two birds by a bell. The initials "SJ" are from the artist who painted the bell. Incidentally, the people advertising these as signed by DeGrazia are either completely stupid or really bad liars. The two DeGrazia signatures you see are etched into the ceramic (you can see and feel it) and are simply painted over by the color artist for the bell, in this case SJ. If you happen to see a third inked signature, then you may have the real deal. Otherwise, it's a pile of horse poop these sellers are shoveling your way. Includes a Wind Tamers card with a photo of Ted on one side (shown). See bell and card $25

This diorama was mass produced in Japan, but it turns up with many variations: some hand painted (many different color combinations), some not painted, some with faux patina aging, the scene can have or be missing the boat, the couple, the ducks or the man on the bridge, the water wheel can spin or be fixed, and the shell top can have one or two dragons. This particular diorama has all the scene elements, a unique color scheme, the water wheel turns, two dragons on top, and it comes with the original 2 1/4 x 2 7/8 inch black finished wood base. Card back design is a green and white house with a brown flower overlay made by the United States Playing Card Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. A reliable way to date decks made by the USPCC is the dating code printed on the ace of spades at the time it was manufactured. Since this pack is still sealed, it's not possible to do that. It is believed that this pack comes from the 1950s, but that is simply a best guess based on the other items it was found with. Nice item for either a stamp or vintage playing card collector.
