WORLD WAR II GERMAN MILITARY COLLECTIBLES
These are all original, WW II era German and Nazi military collectibles - NO reproductions!
They were all obtained from American veterans who served in Europe during the 1940s.
These items are offered as pieces of military history for collectors and are NOT
for sale as an endorsement of the Nazi party or Nazi beliefs. By law, the
Luftwaffe Flak Badge and the Coins can not be sold to certain countries in Europe; so with regret, I won't take orders
for them from any European collectors outside of the U.K.
HESSEN VETERAN'S BADGE: This medal, from the Grand Duchy of Hesse, is oval with a crowned, sword-bearing, lion in the center and topped with a Hessen crown. The front reads, "Kriegerkameradschaft Hassia" around the rampant lion. Twin red, black, and white ribbons extend from the badge with metal tassels at the bottom of each. The reverse is hallmarked by the manufacturer "L. Schmidt Rauch Darmstadt" around the edge with "Posamentier Waren Militär Effekten" in the center. Size is 3 inches long by 1.25 inches wide. Condition is very good, metal is clean with the cloth ribbons showing the most wear, some fraying on the black stripe on the right ribbon. Badge and metal tassel clasps are all present and secure. Back pin is straight and the pin hook is shaped in the typical period twist pattern. The War Veteran's Association in Hesse awarded these badges. It is possible that this is pre-WWII, but I can attest to it coming back in 1945. See badge front and back $75
LUFTWAFFE FLAK BADGE: This medal, first instituted in January 1941, was awarded to Nazi air defense crews on a 16 point requisite basis. This fine example, from mid-war, is made from zinc, in a standard two-piece construction, by Hermann Wernstein, with the "W" mint mark clearly visible on the back. Size is 2.5 inches tall by 1.75 inches wide. Condition is as close to "pristine" as I've ever seen in a used military award. Original shine still exists in areas on the badge. Barrel-hinged needle-style back pin and hook clasp are without any defects. It is a superb example worthy of any high end collection. See badge front and back $475

During World War II in the Philippines, the occupying Japanese government issued fiat currency in several denominations. This is known as the Japanese government-issued Philippine fiat peso. It was often referred to as "Mickey Mouse money" by the locals because of the huge amounts required to purchase anything. See front and back Both for $8.50

SPIRIT OF ARIZONA SIGNED PRINT: Full color print commemorating the B-2 Stealth Bomber Naming Ceremony for the Spirit of Arizona plane at Davis-Monthan AFB on March 20, 1998. Printed on heavy coated stock, approximately 11 x 14 inches, issued in 1998, O/P. Very limited production for distribution at the ceremony. Identical to the above unsigned print except this one is signed by three of the representatives at the ceremony. General Richard E. Hawley (signed Dick Hawley, Gen. USAF), who has flown the B-2, and Congressman Jim Kolbe (signed Jim Kolbe, U.S. Congress) (died December 2022) are definite and legible. The third signature, while clean, is uncertain. It is probably Col. John D. W. Corley (now General), who was the 355th Wing Commander at DM-AFB at the time, but this is just a best guess. While the unsigned print above is NM condition, this copy shows a bit of minor handling wear at an angle from being passed around for the autographs, but nothing that detracts from the piece. When framed, it will look outstanding. See signed print $85
