EL PLANETA DE LOS SIMIOS (The Planet Of The Apes) #1: Año 1, Epoca 2, No. 1, August 15, 1975, VF-, MACC Ediciones Especiales, (Planet of the Apes Magazine #1 in U.S.), Color and B&W artwork, printed in Mexico; Marvel Magazine with cover art reprint of issue #7 by Bob Larkin, interior artwork by George Tuska (Gene Colan drew the splash page) and Mike Esposito, adaptation of story by Doug Moench. Begins the saga of the first film up to the point where Dodge is shot. There's also an article on the Planet of the Apes film with stills and production artwork. The unique thing about this hybrid issue is that while it is magazine size and has some pages in B&W, it captures elements of the comic book with some pages in color. It's also 32 pages (including covers) like a comic book and not 64 like the U.S. magazine. All in Spanish. See covers  $42
