DVD/BD CONDITION NOTES: "I place no warranty on the DVD/BD" does not mean you are getting stuck with junk. If opened, it means the DVD/BD played perfectly on a well-maintained Toshiba or Sony BD/DVD player. If it doesn't play on an unmaintained "Bubba's Brand" player, then it's not the disc's fault. "Like New" means exactly that. The BD/DVD looks just like it did when the keep case was first opened - no scratches, no fingerprints! Keep cases may or may not have wear, but that is always noted. The exceptionally few DVDs with noted surface marks may possibly stick on some units, depending on their sensitivity, so be aware. They didn't on mine. All BD/DVDs are retail purchased copies - NO Rental, Second Hand or Library copies are offered!

VHS CONDITION NOTES: "I place no warranty on the tape" does not mean you are getting stuck with junk. It means if the tape was opened, it played perfectly on a well-maintained Panasonic or Sony VHS player. If it jams on an unmaintained "Bubba's Brand" VHS player, then it's not the tape's fault. All tapes are retail purchased copies - NO Rental, Second Hand or Library copies are offered! Boxes may have minor shelf scuffing, but no major wear. Most tapes haven't been played in over 20 years, but have all been stored in temperature controlled environments. Every tape is rewound to the beginning!

ABDUCTION (2019): Blu-ray Disc, Shout! Studios, Shout! Factory Blu-ray Release SF 19529: 2019, Region A, UPC: 8-26663-19529-3, Not Rated, 106 mins directors cut/97 mins released cut. Directed by Ernie Barbarash. Starring Scott Adkins, Andy On and Truong Ngoc Anh. Wide Screen 1.78:1, 1080p High-Definition, Audio: DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, Subtitles: English, Special Features: Trailer and 2 versions of the film, producer's cut and extended director's cut, Plastic Keep Case. Roger Corman produced this. What more do you need to know? Beings from another dimension are trying to wreak havok in our dimension. Lots of fun kung-fu action and bad dubbing on Dr. Anna who speaks some lines in English and some in Vietnamese with English overdubbed. Can Quinn and Conner save humanity? (Actually, they'd be happy just getting their daughter and wife back from another dimension.) Pull up a bowl of popcorn and find out as Roger grinds out another sci-fi epic. Not Rated but would probably get an R for profanity and violence. The BD was viewed once, plays perfectly, and is in like new condition, as is the plastic case. I place no warranty on the BD. AFTER DEATH (1989) (aka OLTRE LA MORTE, ZOMBIE 4: AFTER DEATH and ZOMBIE FLESH EATERS 3): DVD, Shriek Show, SSDVD-0224, DVD Release: 2002, Region 1, ISBN: 1-58655-378-9, Not Rated, 84 mins. Directed by Claudio Fragasso (as Clyde Anderson). Starring Jeff Stryker (under his real name Chuck Peyton), Candice Daly, Massimo Vanni, Jim Gaines, and Don Wilson. Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1, Audio: Dolby Digital Mono, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Interviews with Jeff Stryker/Chuck Peyton, Candice Daly and Claudio Fragasso, Film Production Notes, Fragasso Biography, and a Trailer Gallery that includes this film and 3 other Italian gore masterpieces. Chapter Card included inside. MY SYNOPSIS: Because a group of scientists dared to try and cure cancer (how appalling!), an angry local African witch doctor living in the Philippines opens the door to hell (he has the key) and lets loose a plague of zombies there. He starts with his wife who grows buck teeth, spews bile, leaps about, tears faces off, bites throats, and generally maims and kills all the scientists (dang I just ruined that part for you). A few disconnected story lines later, a new batch of zombie food has returned to the island and they must fight off the hordes of hell. Lots of shooting, exploding heads, throat biting, blood spurting, Bosco drooling, and all the stuff people who watch these films (like me) want to see. There are sections where you can go out and make popcorn without missing any zombies drool gallons of Bosco or get their brains bashed in. The zombies can't make up their minds if they want to amble a la Romero or jump around like kung fu maniacs, which, quite frankly, spoiled all the realism in this film for me. Not Rated, but you must be 18 years of age or older to order (and endure) this because of profanity and typical zombie gore, because we all know “you gotta shoot ‘em in the head!” Shot in two weeks, this flick will entertain you with its cinematic mastery and its use of oatmeal as zombie make-up. The DVD was viewed once, plays perfectly, and is in like new condition, as is the plastic keep case. I place no warranty on the DVD. See case cover  $4.50

AFTER THE DARK (2013) (aka THE PHILOSOPHERS): DVD, Phase 4 Films, DVD Release: 2014, NTSC 1, ISBN: 6-25828-62590-9, Rated R, 107 mins. Written, Produced and Directed by John Huddles. Starring James D'arcy, Sophie Lowe, Daryl Sabara, Freddie Stroma, Rhys Wakefield, and Bonnie Wright. Video: 2.35:1 Widescreen, Audio: 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Features: Behind The Scenes, Cast Interviews and 2 Trailers for the film, plus trailers for other films. Promoted as a post nuclear holocaust movie with teenage students competing for a place to survive in an underground bunker. The film is actually much more than that with multiple scenarios presented where the 20 students must rationally select the best 10 to survive and reboot humanity after a proposed global nuclear event. Surprisingly good film. Rated R because of profanity and violence, so you must be 17 years of age or older to order this DVD. Bonus Features: Creating Air, Behind The Scenes with Reedus and Hounsou, and Trailers for other films. Claustrophobic tale about two technicians who must maintain underground life support systems for mankind's hope to rebuild society, after a disaster has poisoned all the surface air on earth. While set in the future, the story location takes place in is an antiquated missile silo bunker, with 1980s technology inside, adding to the struggles of the two men to keep themselves and the bodies of the others alive. ANIMAL AMONG US (2019): DVD, Uncork'd/HighOctane, DVD Release: 2019, Region 1, UPC 8 16943 01549 6, Not Rated, 90 mins. Directed by John Woodruff. Starring Christian Oliver, Larisa Oleynik, Erin Daniels, Christine Donlon, and Don Frye. Widescreen 2.39:1, Audio: 5.1 Dolby Digital, Plastic Keep Case.  Bonus Features: Director's audio commentary and trailers for other films. MY COMMENTARY: Fifteen years ago, two dumb teenagers were murdered at a camp and now that very camp is reopening. Imagine that! How original!! And guess what? The killer is still there and ready to repeat his dumb teenager murder spree. And to top it off, there's some found video footage of the killer in action! Wow, that's never been done before!!! The hyperbole on the case says it's "loaded with tension, twists and solid action...you'll never forget." That would be true if you've never seen a horror film involving a killer in the woods hunting dumb teenagers (who all look like they are in their 20s and 30s). BAD INCLINATION (2003) (aka CATTIVE INCLINAZIONI): DVD, Shriek Show, SSDVD-0422, DVD Release: 2004, Region 1, ISBN: 1-58655-585-5, Not Rated, 97 mins. Directed by Pierfrancesco Campanella. Starring Eva Robins, Mirca Viola, Elisabetta Cavallotti, Guido Berti, Antonio Petrocelli, and Elisabetta Rocchetti. Widescreen 1.85:1/16 x 9 enhanced, Audio: Dolby Digital Mono, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Interviews with Pierfrancesco Campanella, Elisabetta Cavallotti and Elisabetta Rocchetti, "Making of" Featurette, Photo Gallery, Trailer, and a Trailer Gallery with 5 horror and thriller movies. Winter 2007 Media Blasters catalog included inside. MY COMMENTS: A modern day "Giallo" involving a series of murders in one apartment building where you'll be rooting for everyone who lives there to get a metal drafting triangle through the throat. (I'm just impressed that everyone in Italy knows what a setsquare is without an explanation). In between the false scares and leads, the mandatory showers, and the kinky sex scenes, you'll be laughing your butt off at the moments that are supposed to be a deep commentary on society and the media. This film is so convoluted that I can honestly say you'll never guess who the killer is in the end. Then, when you get to the end, you'll say, "What?!?! Did I miss something while I was getting another beer?" Not Rated, but you must be 18 years of age or older to order this because of violence, nudity, profanity, and non-erotic lesbian and hilarious "spank me" scenes. Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1, Audio: Dolby Digital 5.1, Mastered in High Definition, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Deleted Scenes. MY SYNOPSIS: Deep in the "notorious Belzan forest of Chechnya" (sounds spooky already, no?), wacked-out Dr. Walsh is experimenting on computer animated bats the size of 50 gallon borscht pots. An elite team of really bad actors dressed in military uniforms enters the forest to capture the mad doc, but they end up as bat chow, except for the really elite super bad lead actors. They continue to trudge through the movie surrounded by bat swarms, streams of blood and severed body parts. Accents come and go, depending on the mood of the "actors." Will they triumph in the end and defeat the computer generated bats? Eeeep! (that means "I'm hitching a ride on a jeep" in bat). THE BEAMSHIP TRILOGY COLLECTORS EDITION: Set of 3 VHS Videotapes that include The Meier Chronicles, The Movie Footage and The Metal, 1985-87, Intercep, tapes and original white plastic clamshell boxes look new/as issued. This original "collectors edition" set was purchased directly from Wendelle Stevens. It is not one of the awful EP/SLP duped versions offered by other companies under a number of titles that you can find for a few bucks. "Chronicles" is the longest of the tapes at approximately 90 minutes and it covers all aspects, up to the time of release, of the Meier-Pleiadian experience with interviews, photos, 8mm movie footage, and sound recordings. "Movie" is approximately 60 minutes and examines all the 8mm film footage in detail. "Metal" covers Marcel Vogel's analysis of the Pleiadian metal sample and runs approximately 45 minutes. Whether you believe Eduard "Billy" Meier's UFO contact story is true or a hoax, this series is fascinating to watch in its best quality release. If you are a collector, then this is the version to find. I place no warranty on the tapes. See all 3 box covers  All 3 tapes for $59

THE BLACK CAT (1981) (aka GATTO NERO): DVD, Blue Underground, BU1094DVD, DVD Release: 2007, Region 1, Not Rated, 92 mins. Directed and co-written by Lucio Fulci. Starring Patrick Magee, David Warbeck, Mimsy Farmer, and Al Cliver. Widescreen 2.35:1 (16 x 9 enhanced), Audio: Dolby Digital Mono, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Lucio Fulci Bio with Filmography and the Theatrical Trailer. Blue Underground Spring 2007 Catalog included inside. MY COMMENTS: Magee wants to talk to dead people but his pussy cat won't let him. If you thought Garfield had a nasty temper, then you definitely want to steer clear of this black cat. He can: make you face plant through your exploding car's front window, shish kabob yourself, stand in front of a speeding car, suffocate by foaming at the mouth (then rats eat your flesh), and sap all common sense from your brain so you walk into flames, catch on fire, and then dive head first out an upper story window - not to mention all those nasty facial scratches. And don't even think about hanging him! He'll turn your bedroom into a Pazuzu demon festival on a par with Regan MacNeil's. This is one mean pussy cat. Fulci goes for creepy over non-stop gore in this effort and helps you relate to the cat with lots of "pussy-cam" shots. Much of the film was framed by an ophthalmologist. Supposedly restored from the original negative and presented in widescreen for the first time on this Blue Underground release. Not Rated, but you must be 18 years of age or older to order this because of pussy cat induced violence and mandatory female nudity. BLACK DEMONS (1991) (aka DEMONI 3): DVD, Shriek Show, SSDVD-0306, DVD Release: 2002, Region 1, ISBN: 1-58655-426-3, Not Rated, 88 mins. Directed by Umberto Lenzi. Starring Joe Balogh, Maria Alves, Kieth Van Hoven, Sonia Curtis, Philip Murray, and Justo Silva. Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1, Audio: Dolby Digital Mono, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Interviews with Umberto Lenzi and Olga Pehar, and a Trailer Gallery that includes this film and 4 other Italian zombie masterpieces. Title Card included inside. MY SYNOPSIS: A group of stupid white kids go to Brazil and one, who is appropriately named Dick, wants to experience macumba first hand. "Sure, why not, white boy!" says the local stereotype blind voodoo leader. Well, ha-ha on him. Dick gets drugged and becomes a zombie magnet. The trio naturally meet some more stupid kids or we wouldn't reach the mandatory body count for an Italian zombie film. Even though the 6 zombies in this flick move as fast as a tortoise on downers, they still manage to gouge eyeballs out (their favorite pass time) and hang that annoying Maria from the rafters (Yay!). The British guy who keeps calling the zombies "negroes" isn't P.C. and should have a zombie rap group "busta cap in his ass" for not using the P.C. hyphenated "African-Brazilians" terminology. Everyone should have been eye-gouged in this film, but some sadly get away. Uncut, digitally remastered and in English for the first time, which is odd because the leads speak English. Not Rated, but you must be 18 years of age or older to order this because of typical zombie gore and some National Geographic style naked native breasts. BLOOD BATH 2: 2-DVD Set, Brentwood Home Video, BCI Eclipse, Cat. No. 46756-9, DVD Release: 2006, Region 1, UPC: 787364675692, Rated R, Standard/Full Screen, Video Transfers, Audio claims to be: Dolby Digital 5.1 or 2 Channel Stereo, but you would need original film elements to simulate stereo from these mono soundtracks, so don't believe that nonsense for a moment, Flippers (double-sided discs), Plastic Keep Case. O/P. This collection of 4 "horror" movies is a real humdinger. Disc 1 includes "Jack The Ripper Goes West" (aka "Silent Sentence" and originally "A Knife For The Ladies," 1974, 50 mins) and "Legacy Of Satan" (1974, 69 mins). While the first film has nothing to do with Jack The Ripper, it does answer the question "What do you get when you take the producer of "Deep Throat" and mix in the acting chops of pro football hall of famer Freddie Biletnikoff and Boston Bruins great Derek Sanderson?" (This one was shot at Old Tucson, so it's a trip down memory lane to see all the old sets that were destroyed by fire years later). The second movie reunites the producer, director, writer, and editor team of "Deep Throat" to produce a flick that absolutely screams out for mandatory naked female breasts, but you get nary a naked nipple in it. Will I spoil it if I tell you that you'll be calling the villain "oatmeal face" at the end? Disc 2 includes "The Bride" (originally "The House That Cried Murder" aka "No Way Out," 1973, 73 mins) and "Blood Song" (1982, 90 mins). The first movie can be placed in the "so bad, it's good" category and is actually kinda fun to watch in spots (It will make you hide your chickens). Ever wonder how Frankie Avalon would behave if he saw his daddy murder his mommy and her lover in bed? Watch "Blood Song," if you dare, to learn the answer. While all four claim to be Rated R, PG-13 films today are more violent than these oldies. From what I've read, original prints of all these have been lost, or purposely thrown away, so video transfer is the only way they are available. Opened, Minor surface marks on both discs, but nothing that interferes at all with play. Plastic keep case is like new with a classic cover shot. I place no warranty on the DVDs. See case cover  $6

Bonus Features: Making of Camp X-Ray, Trailer and Trailers for other films. While the story takes place at Guantanamo Bay, it is far less a war/prison film than a character study between a military guard (Stewart) and a jihadist detainee (Maadi). Superbly made film with spot on performances that reveal some of the inner workings of Gitmo. Rated R for profanity, so you must be 17 years of age or older to order this. CANNIBAL LUNCH BOX TRIPLE FEATURE DVD BOX SET - Released 2007, SSDVD-0710, O/P, Includes WARLOCK MOON, MAN FROM DEEP RIVER and BLOOD FEAST 2: ALL U CAN EAT: See box set slipcase and case covers  All 3 movies for $14

WARLOCK MOON (1973/75): DVD, Shriek Show, SSDVD-0413, DVD Release: 2004, Region 1, ISBN: 1-58655-522-7, Not Rated, 84 mins. Directed by William Herbert. Starring Laurie Walters, Joe Spano, Edna Macafee, Steve Lolinsky, Richard Vielle, and Ray Goman. Widescreen 1.66:1, Audio: English or Spanish Dolby Digital Mono, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Introduction and comedy commentary by Joe Bob Briggs, Original Trailer (Easter Egg) and Reconstructed Trailer, Alternate Opening Sequence, and a Trailer Gallery with 4 more horror films. MY SYNOPSIS: Jenny (Laurie Walters of "Eight Is Enough" fame) and John (Joe Spano of "Hill Street Blues" fame) head off for a picnic and "accidently" take a wrong turn and "accidently" find an abandoned old spa. Focus was obviously not a concern on the production for any of the early close-up insert shots, as we watch the leads wander around the creepy joint. The truly amazing part is Jenny doesn't fly away with a gust of wind up her monstrously huge bell bottom pants. The two meet Agnes, a dear sweet evil old creepy hag from hell, who spikes Jenny's tea, so she trips out, hears bizarre sounds and sees herself as a ghost bride. The couple leave, but after a fun afternoon in the creepy old spa, they can't wait to return. Jenny ditches the bells and returns in a mini-granny dress to hang with Agnes and John. She drops acid again and runs into two bib-overall ax wielding morons named Buford. She gets a small cut on her hand which, in this world, means she can't drive home "because it's dark." She and John, who is now creepy too, have to spend the night. What will happen to poor Jenny? Will she become part of a weird cult ceremony? Will she want to drop more acid and hook up with Timothy Leary? Force yourself to watch this lost cult flick for the answers. Warning! There is no Warlock or Moon in the film. You must "check out" the Joe Bob Briggs commentary track on this DVD. Not Rated, but you must be 18 years of age or older to order this because of ax wielding maniac violence, severed body parts on a shelf, yummy cannibalism, and other poorly executed bits of gore. Sorry, no mandatory naked breasts in this one, but Laurie does walk around in a form fitting skimpy top to show off her perky nipples. The DVD was viewed twice, plays perfectly, and is in like new condition, as is the plastic keep case. I place no warranty on the DVD.

MAN FROM DEEP RIVER (1972) (aka IL PAESE DEL SESSO SELVAGGIO, SACRIFICE!, DEEP RIVER SAVAGES, and MONDO CANNIBALE): DVD, Shriek Show, SSDVD-0421, DVD Release: 2004, Region 1, ISBN: 1-58655-573-1, Not Rated, 93 mins. Directed by Umberto Lenzi. Starring Ivan Rassimov, Me Me Lai (as Me Me Lay), Pratitsak Singhara, Ong Ard, and Sullalewan Suxantat. Anamorphic Widescreen 2.35:1, Audio: English or Italian Dolby Digital Mono, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Interview with Umberto Lenzi, Original Trailer, Photo Gallery, and a Trailer Gallery with 4 horror and thriller movies. MY SYNOPSIS: Ivan Rassimov (who reminds me of Lurch - not Ted Cassidy - Lurch!) gets abducted by Asian savages and is subjected to their tribal indoctrinations. The ever-naked Me Me Lai falls in love with him after he bites her and because Ivan holds her hand, instead of grabbing her breasts during a breast grabbing ceremony, she marries him. Everyday tribal life is filled with normal activities like animal mutilation, running through the jungle naked and laughing in slow motion, tongue severing, rolling around in flour, monkey brain eating, stabbing each other, and other mundane pastimes. Then, those annoying cannibals show up and cause a stir. "Yacaraba!" It claims to be "the flick that started it all" and the "all" is the Italian cannibal film craze. Well, it's not lying, you do get a "let's rape and then eat the native girl" scene. The rest of the film is a loose rip-off of "A Man Called Horse" with Thai/Burmese natives in place of Indians. Not Rated, but you must be 18 years of age or older to order this because of violence, nudity, profanity, rape, sex, and yummy-munchy cannibalism. The DVD was viewed once, plays perfectly, and is in like new condition, as is the plastic keep case (the wraparound paper does have some pressure folds). I place no warranty on the DVD.

BLOOD FEAST 2: ALL U CAN EAT (2002): DVD, Shriek Show, SSDVD-0319, DVD Release: 2003, Region 1, ISBN: 1-58655-410-7, Rated R, 92 mins. Directed by Herschell Gordon Lewis. Starring John McConnell, Mark McLachlan, Melissa Morgan, Toni Wynne, J.P. Del La Houssaye, and the incomparable John Waters. Widescreen Letterbox 1.85:1, Audio: Dolby Digital Mono, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Photo Gallery and a Trailer Gallery that includes this film and 4 more gore films. Media Blasters Winter 2007 catalogue included inside. MY SYNOPSIS: Returning to his grand dad's home town, Fuad Ramses III embarks on catering another blood feast for Ishtar, as his grandfather did before him. The humor is played way over the top which makes the buckets of blood in this film all the more palatable. Two bumbling cops wander from crime scene to crime scene, one puking and one eating. In between, you'll see showers scenes without water and dead bodies that accidentally move. While this lacks the charm of the original, H.G. doesn't slight the viewers for gore, naked female flesh and cornball comedy. John Waters guest appearance is worth the price of the film alone! Rated R for graphic violence, gore and mandatory naked female breasts, so you must be 18 or older to order it. The DVD was viewed once, plays perfectly, and is in like new condition, as is the plastic keep case. I place no warranty on the DVD.

CHILDREN OF THE LIVING DEAD (2001): DVD, Artisan, DVD Release: 2001, Region 1: US-CAN, UPC: 012236122722, Rated R, 90 mins, O/P. Directed by Tor A. Ramsey. Starring Martin Schiff, A. Barrett Worland, Damien Luvara, and Tom Savini. Widescreen 1.77 (16:9 WS), Audio: 5.1 Digital Surround – English, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Features: Photo Gallery, Trailer, Trailer Gallery. Chapter Card included inside. MY SYNOPSIS: Angry because his mommy dressed him up like a girl, Worland comes back from the dead and makes zombies out of some kids trespassing on his property. In turn, they attack local idiots and an evil land developer trying to build a car lot on an old cemetery. Tom Savini only jumps around killing zombies early in the film; he’s not really a lead character. NOTLD alumnus John Russo and Bill Hinzman worked on this Pennsylvania product. Rated R for profanity, violence, and typical zombie gore, because we all know “you gotta shoot ‘em in the head!” You must be 17 years of age or older to order this. COLDITZ (2005): DVD, Timeless Media Group 68546, DVD Release: 2013, Region 1, UPC: 0-11301-68546-9, Rated R, 184 mins. Directed by Stuart Orme. Starring Damian Lewis, Sophia Myles, Tom Hardy, Jason Priestley, Laurence Fox, Timothy West, and James Fox. Full Screen, Audio: Dolby Digital, Subtitles: Spanish, Plastic Keep Case. Originally a two-part Granada Television mini-series, it is presented complete, in two parts, on this DVD. Represented as a World War II prison break action movie on the case, it is actually a twisted love story in which Lewis escapes the Colditz Castle prison first and falls for fellow prisoner Hardy's girlfriend (Myles) back in war torn England. Yes, there is action and prison breaks, but it is the love story that drives the plot. Rated R, so you must be 17 years of age or older to order this because of profanity, violence, brief nudity, and drug use. The DVD was viewed once, plays perfectly, and is in like new condition with one exceptionally small surface mark on the disc, plastic keep case is like new. I place no warranty on the DVD. Along the way, lots of stuff gets blown up and digital effects become the star. John Rhys-Davies has a small role as a bumbling dictator, who is not really charming. Starring John Corbett, Josie Bissett, Bradley Whitford, Ben Browder, and Jo Anderson. Full Screen 1.33:1, Audio: 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround – English / 2.0 Dolby Surround - Spanish, Plastic Keep Case. MY SYNOPSIS: There's a hole in the ozone and it's creeping toward Los Angeles so the occupants of Tinseltown can get even more brain fried. The first to happily go in this disaster film are some drunk kids in a plane, then their rescuer (his name is "Racer" so you know he's cool) almost gets it, but he's a "star" so he can't die. It only gets more exciting from there! Whales beach themselves, birds and bees attack, not to mention a house full of bugs. Spoiler Alert: Instead of simply walking out of the houseful of bugs, a dimwit locks herself in a room where she can be bitten by maggots and roaches, because we all know they are poisonous and filled with "deadly toxins." Oh my goodness! And it only gets better when people loot electronics stores, ignoring water and food that they might actually need to survive. "Hey Carl, I'm hungry! Let's eat that TV you stole." Oh sorry, it's just Klaus Kinski (who is still pretty scary). The crew do finally find the rubber alligator suit monster and it picks them off, sending body parts and gushing blood flying all over. Who will survive and who will have their head popped like a grape? While you try to find out the answer, there's naked women to look at in between the gore scenes. MY SYNOPSIS: Gloria, which is close to the Italian "Gioia" when dubbing, and her friends have enormous talents (wink-wink) and they like to expose them in Pussycat magazine. A psycho killer, who doesn't see the world in black and white, he sees it in pulsating red and blue, is out to terrorize Gloria and kill her friends. You know if your head turns into an eyeball or a bug head, you are going to get the axe, or in this case the pitchfork or bee sting attack. The chase leads to a pulse pounding shocking climax that you should have figured out in the first 10 minutes, even if you've never seen thrillers like this before. The right rev just shakes his head and whisks her off to a convent, where exorcist monk man eats cheese and whips himself. Nuns pray and Danila eats her hair, which gives her Incredible Hulk strength so she can rip the bars off her room window and jump out. She runs around the town banging on doors and leaving bloody palm prints, but oddly no one is home in the whole town to answer their doors. With really chappy lips, Danila throws a tantrum during her exorcism. Suddenly, Ivan appears and laughs at her, which makes her get all pretty again and want to "fire and ice" with exorcist monk man. She licks him, but he ain't havin' none of that hanky-panky. Danila laughs, gets all chappy lipped ugly again and beats exorcist monk man with a chain. She pukes milk, Alka Seltzer and what looks like plastic card saver bits. Spoiler alert: Exorcist monk man dies; Danila gets all pretty again and is cured. The End. Oh, happy day! "Inspired" by The Exorcist (it even says it's based on a true story and you know Italian exploitation schlockmeisters wouldn't lie). FLESH FOR THE BEAST (2003): DVD, Shriek Show, SSDVD-0326, DVD Release: 2003, Region 1, ISBN: 1-58655-417-4, Rated R, 85 mins. Written and Directed by Terry M. West. Starring Sergio Jones, Jane Scarlett, Ruby La Rocca, Barbara Joyce, Caroline Hoermann, and Jim Coope with guest appearances by Caroline Munro and Aldo Sanbrell. Music by Buckethead. Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1/16:9 Enhanced, Audio: 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Behind the scenes featurette (29 minutes long!), Interviews with Caroline Munro and Aldo Sanbrell, Photo Gallery, FFTB Teaser, and a Trailer Gallery that includes 4 horror films, plus an Easter Egg with a Buckethead video clip. MY SYNOPSIS: Alfred Fischer (Aldo Sanbrell) died mysteriously in his creepy haunted brothel a century ago. Fischer was an occultist with demon-whores as business partners. Enter a greedy guy (Jones) who stumbles onto Fischer's secret, as well as face first into a pile of guts and torn human flesh. Jones hires a team of para-psychologists to "investigate" his creepy haunted brothel. Along the way, they get their throats and guts ripped out, some get to have sex before becoming demon dinner. Munro and Sanbrell have a cameo scene to explain back-story. There's plenty of flying intestines and buckets of blood hurled to keep gore hounds happy. The surprise ending was a surprise 70 years ago when it was first used in another haunted house story, but if you don't know that or the fact that it's been a "surprise" in other films, you'll be surprised. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that there are zombies, too. You must be 17 years of age or older to order this because of the required profanity, violence, gore, sex, and nudity. Surprise! HIGH-RISE (2015): DVD, Magnet 10961, DVD Release: 2016, NTSC 1, UPC: 8-76964-00961-4, Rated R, 119 mins. Directed by Ben Wheatley. Starring Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, Luke Evans, and Elisabeth Moss. Widescreen 2.39:1, Audio: 5.1 Dolby Digital, Subtitles: English and Spanish, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Features: Commentary Track, Four Featurettes and the Theatrical Trailer. Based on the acclaimed novel by J. G. Ballard, this dark comedy pokes fun at the excesses of the rich, class structure and social mores, using a new apartment building as its foundation. Naturally, the rich live at the top and the poor at the bottom. Quickly the new building has problems and the war between the "haves" and the "have nots" escalates. Loki, I mean Tom Hiddleston, is a new tenant living in the middle of the building who gets caught between the class conflicts. If you don't think eating your neighbor's dog or horse, because you can't get to the grocery store, is funny, then don't watch this film. Rated R for pretty much every offensive thing you can think of, plus sex, nudity, drug use, profanity, and a healthy dose of violence (but all done with tongue firmly in cheek). If your sense of humour leans toward the bizarre, you will love this film. You must be 17 years of age or older to order this DVD. HOBBS END (2002): DVD, Kreative Digital, DVD Release: 2004, Region 1: US-CAN, UPC: 8-81273-00029-0, Rated R, 105 mins. Directed by Philip David Segal. Starring Catarina Conti, Brennan Elliott, Stacy Hunter, and Jerry Fitzpatrick. Letterbox Widescreen Version, Audio: Dolby Digital English 2.0 Stereo, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Feature: Trailer. MY COMMENTS: Lacey is a widow living in an isolated home near Hobbs End. If that isn't an opening line for a horror-stalker flick, then what is? She is supposedly a smart woman, which is why she lets a demented serial killer into her home. They run around a lot in the house and outside in the snow, and after all Lacey does to him, you actually begin to feel sorry for the guy. If you are waiting for the psycho holding the chainsaw on the case cover to show up in this flick, then you will be waiting for the rest of your life. You do get a bloody ax which is used to decapitate Lacey's pal, so Mr. Demented can walk around with just her head and talk to it. The most unpredictable and horrifying part of this film is the music. Egad! Where did they dig up these ghastly tunes? HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY (1981) (aka QUELLA VILLA ACCANTO AL CIMITERO): DVD, Diamond Entertainment, DVD Release: 2000, Region 1, UPC: 0-11891-98023-4, Rated R, 83 mins (box says 84, runs 86 with lots of black and part of the trailer accidentally stuck on the end), O/P. Co-Written and Directed by Lucio Fulci. Starring Catriona MacColl, Paolo Malco, Ania Pieroni, Giovanni Frezzi, and Dagmar Lassander. Widescreen Letterboxed 2.35:1, Audio: Dolby Digital Mono, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Lucio Fulci bio, promo catalog for other films. MY COMMENTS: If you like your chocolate pudding guts mixed with maggots, then this is the flick for you!!! After an early scene of blood spurting, complete with the mandatory guest naked breasts, the Boyle family moves into the old Dr. Freudstein house...sorry, I mean "Oak Mansion"...but unbeknownst to them the dead doctor is still very much alive in the basement looking for fresh meat to keep him alive. Surprise, surprise, surprise! Bob Boyle, the annoying son, makes friends with the ghost girl daughter of the demented doctor and she keeps telling him to stay away. Bob doesn't, which is why you will be rooting for him to get a butcher knife through the head. The house is plagued with annoying whining and crying noises, plus bizarre sounds that are meant to startle the viewer, but the characters in the film don't seem to hear them. Loud noises and music come and go abruptly without any rhyme or reason. The lead characters speak in non sequiturs and stare at each other when you'd think they should say something. The bat attack has got to be the high point of hilarity and provides gore mongers with a waterfall of blood gushing from Norman's hand as he appears to be pushing the bat's fangs further into his hand! Ania Pieroni has got to be the most bizarre babysitter in the history of cinema. Her eyeball close-ups are freaky. In fact, everyone's eyeball close-ups are freaky. Decapitation, throat ripping, maggots, spewing guts, fountains of blood, and moldy corpses are all the trademarks of Lucio Fulci and make this one of his most beloved flicks. The transfer came from Laserdisc. Rated R for gore, violence, brief nudity, and profanity, so you must be 17 years of age or older to order this. Media Blasters Fall 2005 "Coming Soon!" catalog included inside. MY COMMENTS: Part of the Rugerro Deodato Collection, this "Giallo" adds to his Italian film canon of pushing the boundaries of acceptable content and good taste. Still banned in many countries, this flick is a showcase for David Hess' psychotic portrayal of Alex the maniac. The fun part is watching David's bonus interview where he comes off as a soft spoken intelligent individual, which is nothing like the film characters he is often associated with portraying. In typical Italian style, this film goes over the top and is extreme in many moments, followed by passages that lull you into a false sense of security. There is a huge cult following for this movie that may have many people shaking their heads and asking "why?" GOLDEN TEMPLE AMAZONS (1986) (aka LES AMAZONES DU TEMPLE D'OR): DVD, Shriek Show, SSDVD-0502, DVD Release: 2005, Region 1, ISBN: 1-58655-597-9, Not Rated, 84 mins. Directed by Jess Franco and Alain Payet. Starring Analia Ivars, William Berger, Antonio Mayans, Stanley Kapoul, Lina Romay, Eva Leon, Francoise Blanchard, and Alicia Principe. Anamorphic Widescreen 1.66:1, Audio: Dolby Digital 2.0, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Interview with Eurocine's Daniel Lasoeur, Alternate Scenes, Original Trailer, Photo Gallery with production stills and ad artwork, and a Shriek Show Trailer Gallery with other Eurotrash movies. MY SYNOPSIS: Liana is orphaned after her greedy, gold stealing, parents get Amazon women arrows shot into them. She wanders the jungle wearing ferret pelts around her neck and talking to animals. She heads off to the Blue Mountains, not for coffee, but to revenge her parents death, with Rocky the chimp and Koukou the witch doctor. It's not clear who has the higher IQ, but Rocky is definitely less annoying. "Hoorru-Koottu Bella, Arra Poottu!" Liana meets up with some white folks and they wander through caves where they see dead corpses that move (not zombies, just extras who can't hold still for a few seconds to get the shot). The bat attack scene will have you rolling on the floor in hysterics. After getting captured by horse riding Amazon women, Uruck the temple guardian gets a load of Liana's most prominent attributes and wants to make her part of his harem. Who wouldn't? She's stacked like a pile of all-you-can-eat IHOP pancakes! Rena, the sadistic Amazon leader doesn't go for it and kills him. Rena shish kabobs white man and his pancho wearing wife, but chains up Liana and her pals. Rocky touches a chain with his finger (he must have monkey X-powers) and frees Koukou, who uses his magic exploding powder to blow up Rena. Liana saves the slaves forced to mine gold painted tin foil draped on cave walls (no expense spared on set design) and all's well that ends well. If watching topless women ride horses is your thing (boing-boing), this movie is definitely for you! Not Rated, but you must be 18 years of age or older to order this because of non-stop mandatory naked females and a rape. Although, Daniel Lasoeur refers to this as a French "family film." The DVD was viewed once, plays perfectly, and is in like new condition, as is the plastic keep case. I place no warranty on the DVD.

AMAZONIA: THE CATHERINE MILES STORY (1985) (aka SCHIAVE BIANCHE, L'ESCLAVE BLONDE and WHITE SLAVE): DVD, Shriek Show, SSDVD-0512, DVD Release: 2005, Region 1, ISBN: 1-58655-683-5, Rated R, 90 mins. Directed by Mario Gariazzo. Starring Elvire Audray, Will Gonzales, Dick Campbell, and Andrea Coppola. Anamorphic Widescreen 1.78:1, Audio: Dolby Digital Mono, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Alternate English opening sequence in a hidden Easter egg, Elvire Audray Photo Gallery, Fangoria International Trailers and a Shriek Show Trailer Gallery with other Eurotrash movies. Includes the Media Blasters Fall 2006 Catalog. MY SYNOPSIS: After a hokey "this is based on a true story" introduction, 18 year old Catherine goes on a boat trip down the Amazon with her relatives. Her parents take poison arrows, one to the eyeball, and get their heads chopped off by natives, except Catherine, because hey, this is her story. Umukai the native falls in love with Catherine and sucks the poison out of her, and off we go on a love/hate adventure for the rest of the flick. Catherine becomes a member of Umukai's tribe, all the while plotting her revenge and escape. Along the way, more heads get chopped off, bodies get riddled with bullets, heads explode, a face gets eaten by bugs, and a native gets munched in the funniest crocodile attack you've ever seen. Eventually, Catherine learns that Umukai isn't responsible for her parents death (though he is for chopping their heads off, which is a minor overlooked point), so she has sex with him. He helps her escape and find the real killers, so she can can poison them and chop their heads off. Oh, did I forget to mention this is all framed around Catherine's trial for murder which includes a scene never, ever, EVER, seen before by a human being until you see it for the very first time! Wow! Rated R for mandatory female nudity, head chopping and exploding, eyeball gouging, bug and croc munching, and an evil leopard who kills and eats a deer and a monkey. The DVD was viewed once, plays perfectly, and is in like new condition, as is the plastic keep case. I place no warranty on the DVD.

DIAMONDS OF KILIMANDJARO (1983) (aka EL TESORO DE LA DIOSA BLANCA and LES DIAMANTS DU KILIMANJARO): DVD, Shriek Show, SSDVD-0503, DVD Release: 2004, Region 1, ISBN: 1-58655-611-8, Not Rated, 95 mins. Written and Directed by Jess Franco. Starring Katja Bienert, Antonio Bayans, Aline Mess, Albino Graziano, Javier Maiza, Olivier Mathot, and Lina Romay. Anamorphic Widescreen 1.66:1, Audio: Dolby Digital 2.0, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Interview with Eurocine's Daniel Lasoeur, Original French Trailer, Photo Gallery, and a Shriek Show Trailer Gallery with 4 other movies. MY COMMENTS: This could very well be the worst movie ever made. It definitely makes "Plan 9 From Outer Space" look like "Star Wars." We begin with what is certainly the worst fake plane crash ever simulated on film, but it does get Diana and her Scottish guardian into the jungle - Hoot Mon! The scary natives won't stop smiling in the cutaways, so they aren't much of a threat. However, Diana's mother looks like a reject from a demon possession Giallo, so she's pretty spooky. Don't be alarmed if you can't make sense of the prolonged shots of jungle and water, because nobody else has in the past 35 years. Also, your eyes aren't going bad, one entire scene is really shot completely out of focus. The "big white chief's" Scottish accent comes and goes, and like many performers in the film, often speaks without moving his lips. Does he live in a cave or a hut? I'm not sure. His abode changes from shot to shot and scene to scene. But, let's get back to Diana. She lives in the jungle and roams around topless talking to monkeys and the occasional rhino, but she has bikini marks on her chest. Now, I can believe a savage with bikini lines, but when her rich evil uncle arrives to put the whammy on her and drinks Dewar's White Label, well even I can't buy that! Come on, Dewar's and not a single malt?!? As a warning, the non-stop mandatory naked breasts bounce at a rate severe enough to give you a crick in the neck if you try to follow them. "Walla-walla!" I did learn a few things from this film. 1 - The French pronounce "truck" as "part." 2 - Watermelon will cure you after you get beaten up in a fight. 3 - Dead people can move their heads after they have their throats slit with a machete. 4 - The French make the worst exploitation films in the world. (Watch "Zombie Lake" after this and you won't stop laughing for the rest of the week.) Most memorable line in the movie: "Any moss you pick to wipe your ass may leave you with an itch for life, so let's all take one last civilized crap before we set out." That sage bit of advice is worthy of an Oscar for best screenplay. Not Rated, but you must be 18 years of age or older to order this because of profanity, a dummy head getting chopped off and mandatory naked females. The DVD has one small surface scratch that did not effect playback; the plastic keep case is in like new condition. I place no warranty on the DVD.

Years later, some stupid kids find him in the swamp and proceed to get picked off one by one. And yes, there is a zombie in this movie! KILL ME THREE TIMES (2014): DVD, Magnet 10869, DVD Release: 2015, NTSC 1, ISBN: 8-76964-00869-3, Rated R, 90 mins. Directed by Kriv Stenders. Starring Simon Pegg, Sullivan Stapleton, Alice Braga, Teresa Palmer, Callan Mulvey, Luke Hemsworth, and Bryan Brown. Widescreen 2.39:1, Audio: 5.1 Dolby Digital, Subtitles: English and Spanish, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Filmmaker Commentary, Deleted Scene, Behind The Scenes, Making Of Kill Me Three Times, Cast & Crew Q&A, Storyboards, Photo Gallery, Poster Gallery, Trailers for other films. Wicked Australian dark comedy featuring Pegg as a professional hitman contracted by a husband intent on murdering his wife. Unknown to him, she is also in the middle of an inept murder and blackmail plot by another couple. The story is told from three perspectives, hence the film's title, about a bungling group who can't even kill their target once, let alone three times. The ensemble cast works exceptionally well together and the flow of the film is spot on. The "twist ending" is very predictable, but getting there is a whole lot of fun. Rated R for bloody violence, profanity, and some nudity, so you must be 17 years of age or older to order this movie. The plane is forced to emergency land on a mysterious island because inept people are flying it. On the mysterious island where "monsters" exist, their problems are exacerbated by the idiots who decide to leave the plane. Chapter card insert with critical assessment of the film included inside. MY COMMENTS: Long considered a "lost film," and it should have stayed that way, some treasure hunter managed to dig up a clean copy and got this gem released in the U.S. 34 years after it was made. It's supposed to be an erotic thriller. There's loads of full frontal nudity in this film, from beginning to end, to keep the overcoat crowd happy, but not a lot of thrills. Here's what I learned from this flick: 1) Leave the water running in the shower after you get out and leave the bathroom, 2) Strip shows in Zagreb are better than a handful of sleeping pills, 3) To become a model, "you must be punished, brutally tamed," 4) "Thunder shows you the way to paradise," and 5) Women in Zagreb do not wear underwear. Invite your friends over, crack open a few and give this movie the MST3K treatment. Not Rated, but you must be 18 years of age or older to order this because of nudity, profanity, nudity, sex, and nudity. Directed by Lamberto Bava. Starring Virginia Bryant, Paolo Malco, Patrizio Vinci, Sabrina Ferilli, Stefania Montorsi, Alice Di Giuseppe, and David Flosi (as the Ogre). Anamorphic Widescreen 16:9, Audio: Dolby Digital Mono, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Interview with Lamberto Bava, Trailer, and a Trailer Gallery that includes 4 gore films. Media Blasters Fall 2005 catalogue included inside. This movie (actually an Italian TV show) answers the question, "What would you get if Italians made episodes of Night Gallery?" Shot in an actual crusty old Italian castle, this film strives more for delivering suspense and chills than the gross-out. How many times do I have to tell that kid to stay out of the creepy basement with the ogre egg!!! She never listens and continues to get her bloomers scared off until the end. The ogre is pretty goofy looking and needs a good dentist, but I like what happens to him in the finale. This movie has absolutely nothing to do with Demons 1 or 2. Not Rated, sometimes given an R for a quick bit of tame bathtub nudity, so you must be 17 or older to order it. THE OTHER HELL (1981) (aka L'ALTRO INFERNO and GUARDIAN OF HELL): DVD, Shriek Show, SSDVD-0230, DVD Release: 2002, Region 1, ISBN: 1-58655-394-1, Not Rated, 88 mins. Directed by Bruno Mattei (as Stefan Oblowsky). Starring Franca Stoppi, Carlo De Mejo, Francesca Carmeno, Paola Montenero, and Andrea Aureli. Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1, Audio: Dolby Digital Mono, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Interviews with Bruno Mattei and Carlo De Mejo, and a Trailer Gallery that includes this film and 4 other exploitation movies. Chapter Card with story synopsis included inside. MY SYNOPSIS: After an early scene where a nun wanders past handy stacks of human skulls and into another nun pretending to be Fuad Ramses eviscerating yet another nun (lotsa nuns here), the film settles down into your standard demon possessed nunnery in need of a good exorcism flick. Franca Stoppi is perfect for the role of the whacked-out mother superior. The fact that she has as many teeth as Bruce in "Jaws" helps immensely. "Stay out of the attic!" Father Valerio wants to use his brain to figure things out, but with dolls hanging from the ceiling, creepy laughing nuns, a mute nun with a really bad gray hair wig, vicious dogs that look like they want to play catch, and a demon with red light bulb eyes, his brain will explode trying to figure this film out. Spewing blood, zombie nuns, crotch attacks, flambéed priests, and evil babies used to make soup are just some of the fun in store for you. No chickens were harmed in the making of this film, except the one that gets its head chopped off in a close-up. The score is by Goblin, but if it sounds familiar that's because it was recycled from "Buio Omega." Not Rated, but you must be 18 years of age or older to order this because of violence, gore, and mandatory naked nun breasts. While baseball is the backdrop, this story of a pitching whiz kid who suddenly loses his touch is more of a character study, and not just of the titled "phenom," than a sports movie. The story explores both the father-son and player-sports therapist relationships in an attempt to explain the cause of the sudden breakdown and how to begin to repair the mental damage. Now, he is agoraphobic and won't leave his house, which is good for the rest of the world. The problem, of course there has to be a problem or there won't be a movie, is Joey is being visited by the killer in his dreams. Battle Of Blood Island stars Richard Devon and Ron Kennedy, Directed by Joel Rapp, 1.66:1 aspect ratio. Roger Corman was the uncredited Executive Producer of "Blood Island" and even pops up in a cameo appearance as a soldier! The screenplay was actually based on a Philip Roth short story! SWV does it again and presents their 3 1/2 hour WWII "V" for Victory double feature with extras show. While both of the main films are supposed to be the stars, it's the special features on this disc that really shine. The two war department films are absolute gems. "Information Please!" is a UK 32 minute short that teaches soldiers how not to spill their guts to Nazis. Those sneaky Krauts, all with British accents, will do anything to get info from you, so keep your gob hole shut! "Our Job In Japan!" is an incredible 17 minute piece of post-WWII racist claptrap that teaches it's the brains of the "Yellow Peril" we must control or they will attempt to repeat to fulfill their destiny as world conquerors. The short spews that America doesn't judge on the basis of race, then turns around and says it's the Japanese race that needs to be judged. All of this war department verbiage came through the unsuspecting pen of none other than Dr. Seuss (Ted Geisel)! STORAGE 24 (2012): DVD, Magnolia/Magnet, DVD Release: 2012, NTSC Region 1, ISBN: 8-76964-00528-9, Rated R, 87 mins. Directed by Johannes Roberts. Starring Noel Clarke, Antonia Campbell-Hughes, Laura Haddock, Jamie Thomas King, and Colin O'Donoghue. Video: 1.85:1 Widescreen, Audio: 5.1 Dolby Digital, Subtitles: English and Spanish, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Features: Director and Actor/Producer Commentary Track, Deleted Scenes, Photo Reel, 4 Behind The Scenes Featurettes, Cast Video Blogs, 2 Day In The Life Cast Videos, 4 Cast Member Scene Commentaries, Teaser, Promos, and Trailer. MY SYNOPSIS: A military cargo plane crashes into downtown London and because we all know that all military cargo planes carry extraterrestrial aliens in them, the one in this plane gets out. It has taken a liking to a large storage facility where the four main idiots and a few others are aimlessly roaming around waiting to be eaten. Power was knocked out, so they are conveniently locked in. The alien (a guy in a rubber suit) starts picking them off, but the most irritating ones keep alluding it/him. You will be rooting for the alien to rip off more faces and chow down on heads before the end of the film. Basically, you have "Alien" in a storage facility here, instead of on the Nostromo. There is a "surprise ending," but you'll have to experience that yourself. There's a good amount of bonus material to warrant owning the DVD, especially if you are a fan of Clarke's. Plus, this is probably the only film you'll ever see with a rocket toting barky dog toy (the highlight of the flick). Rated R for violence, gore and profanity. STRANDED (2013): Blu-ray Disc, RLJ Entertainment, Blu-ray Release: 2013, Region 1, UPC: 0-14381-94825-7, NR, 88 mins, 2.35:1 Widescreen (1080P High Def), Audio: DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, Subtitles: English & Spanish, Plastic Keep Case. Special features: "The Making of Stranded," "Life On The Moon: The FX of Stranded," and previews. Directed by Roger Christian. Starring Christian Slater, Amy Matysio, Michael Therriault, and Brendan Fehr. A U.S. military moonbase (really a little model and set in Canada) gets bombarded by a rogue meteor shower that disables it and cuts off its crew from contact with earth. During an attempt to repair the base, an alien spore on a meteor is brought inside by an idiot crew member. They "isolate" it by intentionally putting all but a small bit in quarantine. Well, wouldn't you know it, the small bit replicates its slimy self and, as alien spores will do, it attacks the crew. But carbon monoxide levels are rising in the base and the crew could be hallucinating all of this! Nah, that would make the film interesting. It's really just a slimy alien. Who will survive? Who will become a bloody pile of human flesh? Will the alien reach earth in a "surprise" ending that is telegraphed from the moment you know there's an escape pod? I won't say. Not Rated, but you must be 17 years of age or older to order this because of profanity and violence. Special features: Trailers. Directed and Written by Guy Bleyaert. Starring Guy Bleyaert, Zara Phythian, Lee Charles, Kimberly Stahl, Daniel Pala, Jean-Paul Van der Velde, Silvio Simac, and Christopher Van Zandycke. MY SYNOPSIS: Convoluted dystopian future Euro-sci-fi flick that should be subtitled because many actors have thick accents that make them unintelligible. The lead hero character, "Tex," should be called "Froggy" instead. Anyway, it's the future and a virus has turned the vast majority of the European population into zombies that want to bite you. However, one teen girl, in her twenties, was bitten and didn't turn into a zombie. And, she has the bad makeup effect on her arm to prove it! See? So, "Froggy" and his team of incomprehensible mercenaries, who can't shoot well but want to kung fu extras to death, set off to get her. They must pass through a check point called Transit 17 - hence the title. Clever, no? In between picking up the teen girl in her twenties, they must fight non-threatening zombies (bad extras with gray makeup slapped on their faces) and other humans who unexplainably want to kill them with kung fu. Will they save the 15 (or 16, depending on who's talking) year old girl in her twenties? You must endure this highly laughable mess, with a six pack of beer and your buddies, to find out. Guy Bleyaert doesn't just write, direct and star, according to the credits, he does a host of other things short of delivering sandwiches. Not rated, but contains mispronounced English profanity and really amateur CGI blood effects. The out of date MovieSpree coupon is included. WEREWOLF WOMAN (1976) (aka LA LUPA MANNARA): DVD, Shriek Show, SSDVD-0305, DVD Release: 2003, Region 1, ISBN: 1-58655-425-5, Not Rated, 99 mins. Directed by Rino Di Silvestro. Starring Annik Borel, Dagmar Lassander, Frederick Stafford, Renato Rossini, Tino Carraro, Felicita Fanny, Howard Ross, Elio Zamuto, and Andrea Scotti. Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1, Audio: Dolby Digital Mono, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Interview with Rino Di Silvestro, Rino's Artwork Gallery, Poster Gallery, Photo Gallery, and a Trailer Gallery with 4 horror movies. Winter 2006 Media Blasters catalog included inside. MY COMMENTS: Restored to its unedited form for the first time in the U.S., you can witness Annik Borel's masterful performance as Daniela the werewolf woman. Raped by a lunatic, Daniela wants to get back at all men by ripping out their throats (and she kills a couple woman, too, for good measure). If she can't do that, a hatchet or steering wheel or wrench to the head will do. To show off, she'll crush you in a car or burn you alive. Come to think of it, Daniela will kill anyone just about anyway she can to make a good blood stew - yum! This 1970s classic is fun right up the "Dragnet voice over" ending. "Did you say forest of solace?" Quentin Tarantino loves this movie and he hasn't even seen it, so it really must be good! Not Rated, but you must be 18 years of age or older to order this because of violence, nudity, profanity, and sex with a wolf-woman. The DVD was viewed once, plays perfectly, and is in like new condition, as is the plastic keep case. I place no warranty on the DVD. See case cover  $9

It includes over 20 of their songs, some with live performances, and all with the original quartet. The addition of a vintage promotional film for The Kids Are Alright is what makes this a "special edition." However, it is still the VHS version of the film which was released missing scenes. THE WILD PARTY (1975): DVD, MGM, DVD Release: 2004, Region 1, ISBN: 0-7928-6080-2, Rated R, 109 mins. Directed by James Ivory. Starring James Coco, Raquel Welch, Perry King, Royal Dano, Tiffany Bolling, and David Dukes. Widescreen 1.85:1 (16 x 9), Audio: Mono; Subtitles: English, French and Spanish, Plastic Keep Case, O/P. Bonus Features: Hollywood Hoopla ("Making Of") with James Ivory, Original Theatrical Trailer. Loosely based on the Fatty Arbuckle scandal and the 1928 epic poem by Joseph Moncure March, the story takes you back to the decadent Hollywood crowd of the late 1920s. A floundering silent film star is attempting to make a comeback with a self-financed silent film when "talkies" are all the rage. He throws a "wild party" to screen and attract buyers for his film, which is mildly received. At the party, his girl sneaks off with a newcomer leading man and he is tempted by a young wannabe chorus girl. The story culminates in tragedy and scandal (with some odd musical numbers thrown in along the way). The film had spotty release in 1975-76 with several different edits. This out of press DVD restores Ivory's original cut of the film. Rated R for profanity and nudity. You must be 17 years of age or older to order this. The DVD was viewed once, plays perfectly, and is in like new condition, as is the plastic case. I place no warranty on the DVD. See case cover  $5

WITCHERY (1988) (aka WITCHCRAFT, EVIL ENCOUNTERS and LA CASA 4): DVD, Shriek Show, SSDVD-0617, DVD Release: 2006, Region 1, ISBN: 1-58655-822-6, Not Rated, 97 mins. Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1, Audio: Dolby Digital Stereo 2.0, Plastic Keep Case. Bonus Material: Joe D'Amato trailer reels (25 minutes worth) and a Trailer Gallery that includes 4 gore flicks. Media Blasters card still inside. MY SYNOPSIS: After the opening scene of a pregnant woman being chased by angry pilgrims with garden tools, and her really bad stunt double jumping out a window, Linda Blair wakes up pregnant for what will be a really bad hair day. Her parents want to buy the hotel on the island where the opening scene woman took a header and off they go with other "fresh meat" to the hotel. In the meantime, David Hasselhoff and his virgin girlfriend are already there investigating the mysterious witch lights, which are created by a creepy old bag. Everyone gets trapped there by a storm and one by one the annoying guests are picked off. You will cheer when Blair's annoying mother gets her lips sewn together by old hags and is stuffed up the chimney for roasting. No one seems to notice the smell as her flesh is charred like gyro meat on a spit. You also get a crucifixion with searing flesh, a swordfish through the throat, hanging, impalement, and some lovely vein bursting to watch. Hasselhoff gets a face full of gushing blood and in the next shot his face is amazingly clean (must be witchery)! All this leads up to a pulse-pounding conclusion where another bad stunt double jumps out a window. "My baby!?!?" Not Rated, but you must be 18 years of age or older to order this because of violence, nudity, profanity, and sex with a guy with ugly lips.
