TATTLER SPECIAL EXORCISM TELE GUIA TELEVISION YEARS TOMMY THE MOVIE
TV IQ PUZZLES TWILIGHT ZONE

TATTLER SPECIAL: EXORCISM: Spring 1974, VF+: Unfolded!, National Tattler Special Edition on Exorcism published to capitalize on The Exorcist film mania sweeping the nation in early 1974. 32 pages, Tabloid Newspaper, size approximately 11.25 x 15 inches, Linda Blair color cover photo, all other interior photos of Blair, Ellyn Burstyn, Jason Miller, Max Von Sydow, Kitty Winn, William Friedkin, and William Peter Blatty are in B&W. Because Warner wouldn't release Dick Smith's make-up shots of Linda/Regan, the Tattler shows them "through simulation and posed by a professional model." Good thing they didn't get an amateur model to go along with their amateur make-up shots! Besides articles on The Exorcist movie, you get pieces on the 1949 case the book was based on, Shirley MacLaine, Billy Graham and Jeane Dixon rants, demonology, "I was possessed" tales, witch hunts, and naturally "true stories of exorcisms." This is a relatively hard to locate Exorcist film tie-in and condition on this copy is the best of the 3 I've sold. See cover  $48
