R MAGAZINE TITLES
RBCC - THE ROCKET'S BLAST COMICOLLECTOR - Published by The Science Fiction and Comics Association (S.F.C.A.), beginning in 1964 with issue #29, the RBCC was a ground-breaking fanzine for collectors that would end up helping to launch the careers of a number of later professional writers and artists. Low print runs keep this magazine highly collectible, but more importantly is the unique and well-researched information in each issue. Card stock covers on all and heavy white interior paper from issues #112 through #151. Cover art is B&W unless otherwise indicated. Prior to #121, issues did not have a date, so I'm basing the "month?" on the ad deadline. Because RBCC was subscription based, it was mailed and suffered from postal handling. It is often difficult to locate copies in VF or better condition. Miraculously, many of the later copies here survived as higher grade issues. The VG, VG/F, F, and F/VF issues still look nice, but they progressively suffer from dings, bends or dimpling occurring in the mail.
